Introduction
Absolute Sharpening Web™
This script prepares your pictures for the web. With one click of the mouse, Absolute Sharpening Web™ will:
- Flatten the image
- Convert to 8 bits per channel
- Downsize (400, 600, 800, 1000 pixel for the largest side or original image size)
- Sharpen (optional - three levels of sharpening)
- Frame (optional - black, grey or white frame)
- Insert caption (optional, up to two lines, font can be selected)
- Convert to sRGB
You picture is now ready to be published on the web!
Absolute Sharpening Web™ now supports Photoshop® CS/CS2/CS3!
How does it work?
Absolute Sharpening Web™ uses the same technology found in Absolute Sharpening Pro™ to sharpen you image (multi pass multi layer sharpening algorithm with sophisticated edge sharpening control). The optional framing and captioning features provide the professional touch to your pictures.
Minimum System Requirements
Absolute Sharpening Web™ works with Photoshop® CS/CS2/CS3 on Windows and Mac. It doesn't work with other versions of Photoshop® or Photoshop Elements®.

Installation
Before installing and using Absolute Sharpening Web™, you need to read and accept the terms of the License Agreement.
- Exit Photoshop.
- Install Absolute Sharpening Web™ on your system by extracting the AbsoluteWeb.jsx file in your <Photoshop>/Presets/Scripts folder.
- Start Photoshop.
- Et voila! The script is now in [File] -> [Script] -> AbsoluteWeb.
- You can even assign a keyboard shortcut to the script.
- You can change the default settings by clicking on the Save as Default button.
